This contemporary version asserts a deeper, more intense woody and smoky character. The aromatic warmth of Caraway and Sage, hallmarks of the original fragrance, is reworked around Palo Santo, whose Smoky, Woody nuances bring depth and modernity to the composition. Sandalwood emerges as a true guiding thread, structuring the fragrance and lending it a creamy, enveloping, and carnal texture.

The composition opens with a burst of cool spices, sharp and vibrant, deliberately distancing itself from overly classic citrus constructions.

The words of the
perfumer:

“NOUS SOMMES AMANTS. M.D.” evokes carnal contact, more specifically skin but in a minimalist and particularly sensual way. It is characterized by a heart of Palo Santo, a sacred wood from Central America and is crossed by a note of hot milk, interpreted by a very particular molecule: sulfurol. This monolithic head-heart-base association is based on a type of notes able to merge beautifully together. White, creamy tones, but at the same time powerful and structuring.
